Focuses on both strengthening pre-requisite skills and enriching Algebra knowledge
Prioritizes dedicated homework help time
Enrollment closes August 24th or when full.
Algebra Lab is for 8th-9th grade students taking Algebra. It is mostly designed for students who anticipate having difficulty in Algebra and for students who would benefit from support to build confidence in Algebra. Put tangibly, students who earned mostly B's, C's, and D's in Pre-Algebra (and expect similar performance in Algebra) are most benefited from this program.
Algebra Lab is designed to help your student succeed, not add more to their plate. Students can expect to spend about 5 minutes a day on daily strengthening drills. The work we do in the Lab will help shave time off homework assignments, so your student should be able to complete math within normally expected time frames or less!
There are two offered times:
Mondays from 4pm to 5pm at the Schaumburg Library
Wednesdays from 4:15pm to 5:15pm on Zoom
Algebra Lab begins the week of August 31 and runs through May.
The in-person version is $150/month (for 9 months).
The online version is $125/month (for 9 months).
Payment is required after registration to secure your student's spot.
Payments are processed through Zelle. After registration is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions and next steps.
