Susannah Gooch
I was homeschooled from preschool through high school content with a semi-classical approach. At 14 years old, I enrolled at Elgin Community College, where I became the youngest known to graduate with an associates degree (at the time). You can read about it here. My first job was at a KUMON center, where I tutored and graded everything from preschool letters and counting to high school literature and calculus. After community college, I went on to Aurora University to study math and secondary education, and I added on a music minor in piano for fun. I was also the youngest person known to graduate from AU (read about it here).
Since graduating, I have tutored online and in-person, and taught in both public and private school settings. Now as a private tutor, I love that I get to work with students individually, have more impact on their growth, and more time to build relationships with students and parents. Check out the services and resources I offer, and let me know how I can best serve you!
